Trees of eternity (1996-99)

This film was another attempt from director Dan Säll to make a film trying to be a ”documentary” in the sense of simply exposing a part of reality without voice over. Just telling a simple story of a part of nature and reality through images and music. I guess that the Tibetan monks came on to the stage by an association with eternity. Yes you might recognise them from ”Grains of Voices”... The film was recorded in New Zealand over 3 years in different seasons.

As with most of these digitised films it seems mono is the preferred format. Sorry...not my choice and not the original format.
