Homo Lalandiense

directed by Dan Säll

Homo Lalandiense is a poetic-realistic documentary about the Danish island Lolland and it´s population, recorded in the autumn and winter of 1995-97. A long row of destinies tells about their lives and dreams as seen in the light of the vigourous and brutal nature of the island. The opening music is based on a Danish folk melody played on a fiddle that has been processed to create the dreamy, distant atmosphere.

Again the clip is in mono instead of stereo.
