The hands
The story of the film is the appearance of a healer on a Swedish island. Soon he is followed by villagers who regard him as a holy man. Gradually his influence grows until he totally controls the ”herd” surrounding him and vicious things takes place... The director wanted a theme that would have some religious touch and also be simple enough for the ”congregation” to sing. In this recording the lead voice is sung by Erik Lindman and the choir parts by the Rilke Ensemble
